how to ensure that permissions are correctly imported from source when using copy method in content matrix.

I am working on a SharePoint migration form version 2010 to 2016 using content matrix by copy from source and paste site in destination method. Site permissions do not copy across as expected.

Thanks for pointing me to this article. I have these settings enabled as described in the article. Doesn't seem to work in my case. I raised a support ticket to get some more help.
