We are getting ready to test express route and since Essentials is installed on a local server in house, we need to know if there are any ports we need to ensure are open to get to SharePoint Online. Our network folks are asking.

We are getting ready to test express route and since Essentials is installed on a local server in house, we need to know if there are any ports we need to ensure are open to get to SharePoint Online. Our network folks are asking.

    Hi,

     

    Similar to Content Matrix, Essentials uses the port number that is entered when creating a connection through the console. If a port number is not specified, by default, it will use port 80 for HTTP sites and port 443 for HTTPS sites.
