Most likely the total includes groups and other objects of different classes, so it can be a bit missleading.

Thanks for that article however that is about RUM.

Iam looking for to get a total AD user synced count other than looking at the console.

Any ways of getting that count by using any powershell command or any query to DSA adlds instance?

Or that count can we get it from the dsa.log file by increasing the logging level for the dsa.log

It relates to all objects stored in ADAM/ADLDS.  There are others that may have such scripts to search ADAM, but this is built into the product, and it can be filtered.  Look to the attached pdf.

Thanks Adams for that pdf file, first i thought it belongs to a RUM task. Then when i pulled out the list based on the PDF it has given me the users which were migrated vs what users are been synced with the directory sync.
