Rum tool result in Outlook 2016 not working

It appears that every workstation I RUM to another domain has it's Outlook 2016 broken, where it generates a Trusted Platform Module error and won't allow users to authenticate and therefore use Outlook.  If we remove the "work or school account" prior to running the RUM tool on the workstation and moving it to the new domain, Outlook 2016 then authenticates properly and Outlook is usable.

Is this a known issue?  Is there anything that can be done during the RUM process to eliminate this error post-Move to the new domain?

  • Hey Marc.  So far, everything I've tried to automate this, do something via a command/script, over the last 3 weeks has failed.  The only thing that actually works unfortunately so far is manually removing that "work or school account" from each machine manually before running the Processing.

I sure hope you have better luck with your MS ticket, and would love to hear what you uncover.  Good luck to us both Slight smile
