netvault vmware plugin backups failing... failed to take snapshot

I have about 50% of my VM backups failing... netvault 12.0.0.34 with the first NV NV plugin plugin that works with VSphere 6.7.

It says failed to take snapshot, backup failed.

When I go to the same VM in vsphere and take a snapshot it works fine...  I really need to get a full backup of all my VMs as I am about to install NSX on a VSAN and if it goes wrong I may need to rebuild the whole VSAN and cluster worst case.
