My scenario is the following: a cluster of 3 hyperv nodes, from where I make 30 vms backups. Only one of the vms gives me error:
Error creating VSS snapshot
Failed to create VSS snapshot
I found several threads of support regarding increasing the storage space of vss shadowstorage, I applied the settings and I still fail only in that one vm.
Can you help me find the problem?
Hi faguero, VSS failures could be a lot of things, usually there is more info in hyper-v host event viewer and in the vm event viewer, as this is only happening with 1 vm it should be something related to that vm, but I will suggest you to create a Service Request with support so they can take traces for debugging what's happening on the background that could help you solve the issue.
