RemoteScan Now Supports Fujitsu ScanSnap Document Scanners in Any Kind of Remote Desktop Environment
ALISO VIEJO, CALIF. – July 10, 2018 – Quest Software, a global systems management and security software provider, today announced a new release of RemoteScan that now includes support for Fujitsu ScanSnap document scanners. With this new release, RemoteScan has extended remote desktop scanning capabilities, making it simple for users to connect document scanners with remote desktops from virtually anywhere.
Quest RemoteScan is a trusted scanner connectivity solution within the Quest Unified Endpoint Management business. It helps organizations achieve a streamlined document scanning workflow process in any kind of remote desktop environment, including Citrix, Terminal Server, Microsoft Azure, and VMware environments. With new support for Fujitsu ScanSnap document scanners, which are not TWAIN and WIA compliant, users gain even greater flexibility with document scanning. ScanSnap is Fujitsu’s highly popular prosumer scanner line. With ScanSnap, users can scan documents easily with the push of one button.
