2 questions - how to manager converting multiple version of single account to pst files and best way to convert nsf from share drive

Our company has recently migrated all the user lotus notes accounts to on prem exchange.  Now we're going through more specialized work but still using question or actually the piece to convert nsf files to pst files and then to ingest those pst files into Enterprise Vault (EV).

This work is for files that have been collected and still needed for the Legal department so there are multiple versions lotus notes mail files for both active and inactive accounts.  They are point in time copies of the mail files.  Also there have been collections of files from user's desktops that have been placed onto a share drive on a file server that they company wants to convert some of those files to pst then ingest into EV.

What I'm looking for is best way to handle both scenarios:

1. is there a way to create a scrip or something t that would use a table or convert files based on location on the lotus notes preservation server and force the export name to be a specific file name?

Table would be something like

Server    File location                                                    File pst name

server1  "Legal Files\Marvie\BST\mbest_01132009.nsf"   mbest_01132009.pst

When the file is forced to spit the pst file into multiples it will just add a number prior to .pst

2. Is there for the quest too to directory connect to the share drive and convert the nsf files there or does the quest too have to work through the Lotus Notes server?

Thank you
