Rapid Recovery Agent upgrade from 5.4.3 to 6.1.1 gone bad

I'm trying to upgrade the Rapid Recovery Agent from 5.4.3 to 6.1.1 and it appears during the process, I managed to inadvertently delete the Appassure Agent ID. Since there's no way of getting this back, would the best to delete what settings I have for it in Rapid Recovery Core and re-add the Rapid Recovery Agent on that particular VM back into Core once I complete the Rapid Recovery Agent upgrade on that VM?

  • As long as the machine is still listed in the Rapid Recovery core you can look up the agent ID. Simply click on the agent in the core web UI and then look at the URL in the URL bar. In that URL is the agent ID.  Check out the screenshot below. Once you have that, copy and paste it into the Agent ID key in the registry on the agent. HKLM/Software/AppRecovery/Agent/AgentID/Id.  Then protect it like you would a new agent and it will line back up with the settings and recovery points that you already had.
