Where do I obtain a certificate file for the Google Cloud account setup?
Is there documentation on this that I can't find on my own?

I believe you are asking in relation to adding a cloud account to the Core. This information is provided by Google when your Google Cloud account is setup.
Google certainly has a lot of documentation, yes. I'm not sure which type of certificate to use though. Obviously I can't setup Oauth with JWT because that has to be signed and resent hourly by the application to maintain access. It would be nice if Quest could at least tell me what kind of certificate file to obtain so I can use google's API documentation to get one. I spoke with a CS rep, and they said I can just click the "get certificate" link on Google's cloud web portal. Would that that were an option.
I have only worked with a few google cloud accounts. If I remember correctly, Google send you a file to be applied. Same goes with Azure or S3. A lic file, or document with security information needed to access the account is sent to you.
What is the exact type of account you are using? Is it a google cloud platform account? I ask so I can try to set up a free trail and see what is sent to me.
Yes, it is a google cloud account. There are no Gapps, domains or anything associated with it. cloud.google.com/.../
