Finding information on front end capacity usage per VM?

Is there a way (either in RR Console or QorePortal) to see the amount of front end capacity each VM is using? I need to make some room for other VM's but not sure where the spacehogs are.

  • In the RR console it's pretty easy. Go to the home page (make sure you are in table view and not dashboard view) and then look at the column called "Recovery Points" which shows the number of RPs and in parenthesis shows the amount of protected data. For protected machines that is the amount of front-end capacity each machine is using. The other thing to do is to run a summary report and then on that report look at the Total column under "Protected Space"

In the QorePortal it's a little less straightforward. Go to the QP and then open Systems -> Repositories -> Select the repository you want to look at. There you'll see each agent listed and the amount of protected data stored for each. Or you can go to the reports page and then use the utilization report.
