Deadlock SQL trace

Hello,

We have a lots of session running under spotlight deadlock trace and consume good amount of CPU. I have set the deadlock list setting to off from Spotlight->Configure->Scheduling->Deadlock List. But, it seems like the trace is still running. How can i set this off?

  • Thanks Gita for your reply. But Microsoft suggested patch is for SQL 2005, 2008 and 2008 R2. We are using SQL 2012. So, it wont work in our case. As you suggested, i have disabled the monitoring for that server and trace was still running. I have attached screenshot for your information. Also, we are receiving Auto Update failure for spotlight message. I follow this link help.spotlightessentials.com/spotlightds_alarm_autoupdatefailure.html and everything seems to be OK. Can you please provide the suggestions?
