Availability Groups and backup alarms

I have read through some of the discussions of how to handle alarms for database backups with Availability Groups but still have not solved my issue.  I do backups from the Primary replica in the Availability Group.  When my AG fails over, I get alarms for my databases that they have not been backed up in so many days.  They have been backed up, only on the other replica.  How do I handle this in Spotlight?

    Hi Debrah and Paul,

    Currently, Spotlight Backup alarms are configured to trigger only on the replica that is set as the preferred replica for backup.  I'll check with the product team of possible planned changes and will get back to you.

    Hi Paul, I confirmed with the product team that there are plans to fix the alarm behavior in these instances in the upcoming 12.4 version. I see that you have an existing support ticket on this issue. Our support team will notify by email once 12.4 is available for download. You can also obtain a status of this change from KB Article 210470. Additionally, the Spotlight 12.4 Release Notes will list the fix under the Resolved Issues section. At this point, Spotlight 12.4 is scheduled for towards end of the year.
