Getting started with Quest On Demand requires adding a tenant. This short video will show you how to do this and explains the type of access token is needed.
Hi, I'm Sean Lutley, and instructional designer with Quest Software. And I'd like to welcome you to the On Demand Add a Tenant video demonstration.
When you first start using On Demand or you have not added a tenant before, each feature will ask you to add a tenant. Just click the Add Tenant button. Now, this is a key message. You need to sign in with an Azure account that has global administrative rights. You need these rights to grant admin consent for permissions needed to collect the data from your Office 365 Vive Azure AD environment.
Here's where you enter the admin account that has the global administrator rights. And this is the permissions we request to collect all the data needed to add a tenant. As you can see, it is all read permissions to add a tenant. You just need to click Accept to grant consent for this tenant. And then you're on your way.
Now, On Demand scans your environment for Azure users and other information. And then when it's completed, it shows how many cloud-only objects and hybrid users you have. As you can see, I only have 33 cloud users and my test [INAUDIBLE].
If you have any additional tenants, make sure you're under the Tenants feature on the left. And just click the Add Tenant widget and go through the same process we did earlier in this video.
From all of us here at Quest, we thank you for taking the time to watch this video. And there'll be many more to come. To learn more about On Demand, visit this online.
