Heath Thompson serves as President and Chief Product Officer at Quest Software, where he leads the company’s global efforts in Engineering, Product Management, and Product Marketing. Since joining Quest in 2020 to lead the company’s Information and Systems Management (ISM) business as General Manager, Heath has been instrumental in driving innovation and execution across the company. His leadership is central to Quest’s mission of helping customers modernize and secure their IT while unlocking the full value of their data in an AI-driven world.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Heath brings deep expertise in building and scaling enterprise software businesses. He has a proven track record of aligning product strategy with customer outcomes – helping organizations build on the foundation of existing investments while guiding them toward future-ready architectures. His approach is rooted in servant leadership, emphasizing accessibility, empathy, and a strong connection to both employees and customers.
Before joining Quest, Heath held senior executive roles at companies including ForcePoint, Landis+Gyr, IBM, Internet Security Systems, and AudioEye. His experience spans product development, engineering, corporate strategy, and general management, with a consistent focus on data, cybersecurity, SaaS and cloud, and strategic innovation.
Heath lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, four children, and multiple dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, travel, and dabbling in astronomy and history of ancient civilizations.
