Todd Hanna is Chief Legal Officer at Quest Software, where he leads the global legal function and serves as a strategic partner across the business to accelerate execution, reduce friction, and enable growth.

Todd brings more than two decades of legal leadership in high-velocity technology environments, including four General Counsel roles at global companies. Prior to Quest, he served as Chief Legal Officer at Sumo Logic, a global software company, and as a Senior Operating Advisor at Francisco Partners, a leading private equity firm, supporting legal operations across 60+ portfolio companies. He has deep expertise in technology contracting, M&A, compliance, IP, and scaling legal teams to support business outcomes.

Known for his revenue-centric mindset and fast-paced execution, Todd builds legal teams that proactively support deals and remove barriers to growth. He holds a J.D. from Syracuse University and a B.A. in Economics from Boston University. Todd lives in Andover, MA, with his wife, two children, and three rescue dogs. In his free time, Todd enjoys rooting for his beloved Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and his children’s ice hockey teams.
