Typically, you need to coordinate the Teams migration planning with the content migration planning of other workloads – including SharePoint, OneDrive, and email. Thus, there is not an easy copy-and-paste solution to moving content. That's up to you. Many Microsoft Teams migration tools copy only the latest version of a file, leaving end users unable to review prior versions or change history, a real problem for organizations with compliance or recordkeeping obligations.
On Demand Migration lets you choose the approach that fits the project. If speed is the priority and only the current version is needed, you can migrate just the last version (or last few versions).
