Hi, I'm Sean Lutley, an instructional designer with Quest Software, and I'd like to welcome you to the hybrid configuration between Recovery Manager for AD and On Demand Recovery. After you've logged into the On Demand portal, make sure you have your tenant added that you want to integrate with [? RMAD. ?] As you can see, I have two.
Now over to my server that has the Recovery Manager portal or web portal installed on it, you need to make sure that you have Version 9.0 or newer to use the integration. One thing to note is that the portal is not installed with the default install of [? RMAD ?] so you need to install it separately.
Now back to On Demand, we need to access the Recovery Service. Now we need to configure the Hybrid Connection, then download the Hybrid Credentials. This will download a text file. You need to copy this file to the server that has the Recovery Manager portal installed on it. Then save it, go back to the server that has the Recovery Manager portal on it.
Within the Recovery Manager portal, under the Configuration tab, you need to expand the portal settings at the bottom. Next you're going to select the On Demand integration, and then check the Enable Integration box. Then you're going to browse to the configuration text file we downloaded from On Demand Recovery. Open it, and now you can see it populates the URL, key name, and the key, which are all the parameters you need to set up the integration.
Then you just need to click OK to setup the integration, and you're all set. And that concludes this video demonstration. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to watch, and there'll be many more to come. To learn more about On Demand, visit us online.
