Escalation approver email notification

Hi,

 I created same workflow.

It works.

I have one question

Level0 gets notification for approval in Web interface and Level0 manager receives email notification too

After escalation from Level0 to Level1

Level1 manager receives approval pending notification in Web interface but he does not receives email.

Why Level1 user does not receives e mail.

ARS 6.8 works like this only or Am I missed anything?
