ALISO VIEJO, CALIF. – March 11, 2021 – Quest Software, a global systems management, data protection and security software provider, announced today that recently acquired Quest - Quadrotech has been named a Representative Vendor in February 2021 Gartner Market Guide for SaaS Management Platforms (SMP). This is the second consecutive time that Quest - Quadrotech, a Microsoft 365 management platform from Quadrotech (acquired by Quest in Nov 2020), has been recognized in the Gartner report. The report sets out recommended criteria organizations should expect from an SMP.

SaaS-based applications such as Microsoft 365 are increasingly popular options to address the pandemic-induced shift to working from home and expected hybrid work arrangements. However, these applications bring complexity; and the number of portals that infrastructure and operations (I&O) leaders need to manage is only continuing to grow.

Gartner cites this trend in the Market Guide report, noting it “expect(s) to see continued, modest growth in this market, influenced by the growth in procurement and consumption of SaaS applications due to remote and hybrid work; Gartner has observed a shift toward multi-SaaS management in tools that initially focused on single-SaaS management.”
