In this video, we will be looking at the Azure Active Directory backup and recovery within that Microsoft Office 365 plug-in for NetVault. So right now what we're going to do is we're going to create a group. And we're going to go ahead and backup all of Azure AD, as well as do a granular [? restore ?] of a single group. I'm creating this test group, and I'm adding a couple of users.
And then what we'll do is we'll go back to within NetVault once this is created. So there's my test group. I've got two members added to it, Jack Smith and Mary Smith. Now, within NetVault, I'm going to go to the Create Backup Job and show you. We're going to do a Browse, and we'll look at the Office 365 plug-in in Azure AD.
And we'll look at the groups. And we'll just confirm that that group is there. And then we'll look at a job to go ahead and protect that information.
So as we navigate through the plug-in hierarchy here down to groups, we'll be able to quickly find our test group that we've created. It is there. So what I'm going to do now is go back to a job that's been previously created that will protect all of the Azure AD information underneath the Microsoft Office 365 plug-in configuration. You can see that everything's selected.
We also have enabled granular restore. I'm going to go ahead and run this job. And then what we'll do is we'll browse the [? saved ?] set that's created.
Let's go back and delete. Before we do that, let's go back and delete that My Test Group. So now we've protected it, but it's no longer there in Azure. We'll go ahead and expand the [? saved ?] set, look at the groups, select our test group, and perform a restore. Kick that off, and then we'll go back to the Azure portal web page, do a quick refresh. And we'll see here that our group has now been restored. And that's a demonstration of the capabilities related to Azure AD. Thanks.
