Keeping Windows devices on a supported feature release shouldn’t feel like a side project. You told us managing Windows Feature Updates through KACE SMA was a capability you didn’t want to lose, and we listened.

With the new KACE SMA 15.1 release, Windows Feature Updates are back. In this Skills 101 session, we’ll walk through how to move devices to Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 using the patching workflow you already know.

You’ll see how Feature Updates fit into your existing patching strategy, what to prepare before rollout, and how to troubleshoot common issues that can block a clean update.

We’ll cover:

• How Windows Feature Updates work in KACE SMA, including how to add 24H2 and 25H2 releases to your catalog and how detection and applicability are evaluated per device.
• Building a Feature Update patching strategy, including scheduling, labeling and targeting device groups, staging pilot rings, and coordinating reboots and maintenance windows with users.
• Pre-requisites and readiness checks, including supported source OS versions, disk space, TPM and Windows 11 hardware requirements, servicing stack and cumulative update prerequisites, and how to validate readiness before the update runs.
• Quick troubleshooting tips, including reading patch status and detection results, interpreting common setup and rollback errors, and checking setupact.log, setuperr.log, and KACE Agent log files.

You’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 rollouts through KACE SMA 15.1, with fewer tools, fewer manual steps, and a more predictable path to keeping devices supported.
