How to query data in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise through Toad Data Point

Hello my name is Robert Pound, a Product Technologist for the Toad Business Intelligence Suite. In this video, I will be discussing how you can query data in Oracle Business Intelligence enterprise instances through Toad Data Point. In the Connection Manager, we can see a connection to Oracle BI already. From the connection drop down list, I will select Oracle BI Enterprise. Now in our Object Explorer, we can see both subject areas and queries available to us in this instance. To query data from a subject area, I will simply select an object, right click, and choose Query Builder. This will give us a visual representation of the object. From here, I can simply expand out and select the fields that are of interest to me. And click Execute SQL. This will bring back the data set for the selected fields.
