OK, so we've got Toad up and running after initial install. And, again, the Connection Manager is empty. But we'll get to that in a little bit.
Probably what you're going to have to do when you first install Toad for DB2 is to enter a license. So you can do to that under Help, Licensing. Now, this screen will display the licenses that you already entered and allow you to add a new license.
I'm in development. So I'm testing out many different types of Toad licenses. So I have several entered. You personally will probably add one. So you'll come to a screen it looks like this in which you will enter your license key in the site message, and then you'll continue and your license will be accepted.
Another helpful screen about licensing is the Help About screen. This dialog comes up and displays whether or not you have a trial or a commercial-registered version as well as the specific version number of Toad as well as your license information and which components your licensed for. So that's another helpful place to look for your license information.
