Network OS Installation and Configuration

How it works:

Hardware-independent deployment
Use the KACE SDA’s scripted installation to automate network os installation and configuration. Remotely install software to any desktop, laptop or server with a single scripted installation, regardless of computer hardware configuration. This remote, unattended installation reduces the costs and complexity of deployment, and saves valuable IT time. Scripted installations provide a reliable and customizable method for deployment in heterogeneous hardware environments and an efficient way to build and maintain gold master configurations. You can also easily integrate applications and files with scripted installations, enabling complete systems provisioning with far less effort.
Remote access during Installation
Use the KACE SDA’s pre-configured remote access tool to connect to a device during network os installation and configuration. This allows you to interact directly with the device if necessary while the KACE SDA Task Engine is performing the OS installation and configuration over the network.
Pre- and post-installation tasks
Streamline all of your network os installation and configuration tasks with scripted installations or full system Images. Reference all network operating system installation and configuration images and related assets from the centralized deployment library whether you use the KACE SDA, the KACE SDA Remote Site Appliance, or bootable-removable-media. The KACE SDA disk imaging software improves deployment reliability and saves you valuable time by ensuring that you don’t inadvertently deploy an outdated disk image or network operating system installation to systems.
Automated driver slipstreaming
Simplify network os installation and configuration by automatically including the correct drivers in each setup to slipstream drivers. Prior to deployment, quickly verify whether all required drivers reside in the vast, prebuilt KACE SDA driver library, and easily add any missing drivers to the library to automatically include them in deployments. Increase system reliability and ease of deployment with driver verification reporting and automated slipstream updates of drivers. The KACE SDA disk imaging and image deployment capabilities provide the tools to import drivers for common hardware manufacturers directly and to capture other vendors' drivers, which minimizes the need to hunt for drivers on the internet while ensuring that the appropriate drivers are available for all your OS deployments. The KACE SDA driver feed functionality will download and organize drivers by computer model.
