MaineHealth, one of the nation's top 100 healthcare delivery networks, decided to roll out Epic EMR across its network to tightly integrate all its hospitals and offer better patient care. However, doing so required an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) migration and consolidation – an imposing challenge considering each hospital had its own AD and user list. Then how the requirement are evolving and deploying the extended feature set as well as the implications of the new national N365 deal. From there looking at how we can all prepare ourselves and our users for the unknown.
