Recovery Manager for Exchange

Simplify and accelerate Exchange recovery and discovery

Exchange email recovery is critical to your business. Stakes are high, with organizations and executives mandated to produce electronic evidence quickly or face hefty fines. At the same time, users expect rapid delivery and message-level data recovery. To ensure your organization can meet these expectations, your Exchange discovery and recovery operations must be fast and efficient.

Recovery Manager for Exchange, with intelligent search, makes discovering and exporting business-critical email data fast and easy, without requiring a dedicated recovery server. From a single console, you can find and retrieve message-level data from multiple sources in minutes and respond to disruptions 74% faster than native tools to quickly get users back up and running.

Key Benefits

Federated search
Reduce response time by searching multiple email data sources simultaneously all from a single interface.
Intelligent search
Ensure a thorough and prompt response to a requests by searching number patterns or keywords using an Outlook-like search.
Comparison reporting
Quickly restore data from the source to the target and enable users and projects to get back on track.

Migration support

Quickly confirm what was migrated, recover data and resume the migration in the event of a power failure or system glitch. Search the source and target migration platforms and respond quickly if an investigation happens mid-migration. Streamline user access to historical email that was not migrated. Promptly respond to interruptions reducing costs of delays and risks to achieving milestones.

Task automation

Automate and schedule search and export of email data. To further automate critical tasks, use PowerShell to script additional options. You’ll be able to accelerate response to discovery requests and reduce organizational risk.

Export options

Export search results as .pst, .eml, .msg or .txt formats or to an Exchange on-premises or Exchange Online (Office 365) mailbox, archived mailbox, public folder or Archive Manager to ensure less disruption to IT resources and significantly reduce response time.

Backup software

Find and retrieve data from most third-party backup software, including NetVault, AppAssure and vRanger backups, as well as EMC NetWorker, IBM Tivoli, Microsoft Data Protection Manager, and Symantec Backup Exec and NetBackup.

Single interface. Multiple data sources

With a single interface, you can search multiple email data sources, including Office 365, on-premises mailboxes (and archives), public and personal folders (.pst), offline Exchange databases (.edb) and Archive Manager.

Comprehensive data search

Initiate a comprehensive search of message body, ID, headers, message classes, categories, deleted items, conversation threads and attachment type and content. Expand those search results to include all messages with the same sender, all messages with the same or similar subject or all related messages.
