[MUSIC PLAYING] Jenkon's been in business for over 35 years, and we service the direct selling industry. And one of the exciting components of that industry is that there are tens of millions of home-based businesspeople selling and representing many products and services. Jenkon provides the software applications that power that market place. We have a SAS based application, that means we're hosting a great majority of our customers. The investments we've been making here this past year have been scaling for the growth that we've been experiencing, and most importantly for the growth in the years ahead.
Previously our monitoring solutions required several engineers to work together for a long time to analyze the simplest issues, and drill down in them. With our new environment one person can drill down to the issue in just minutes, and it'll even give them suggestions to solve the problems very quickly. We can have a turnaround in minutes instead of hours. In fact, we found that the resolution times have dropped down to about 70% of what they used to be with the new tools.
The detail that we get from the Spotlight on SQL Server is the ability to find trending, and change trending. So we don't get an issue after it's hit us, it gives us a warning that something's going to go wrong, and allows us to take proactive action to it. That's great that way. It's got a beautiful mobile app to track what our systems are doing at any time. We can connect in even though we're not on site, we can do all of our work as if we were. I can get a holistic approach instantly of everything going on in our world.
Jenkon is a company of developers. And when it comes to Spotlight and performance analysis, the developers get the most benefit out of it for looking at their SQL queries. They can look at queries that are long running and say, these need to be tuned, or this index need to be added to this table. The best thing about Spotlight and performance analysis for them is to go in, see what the problem query is, tweak the query, try it again, and see if they get better time, and better results.
When it comes to using LiteSpeed for SQL Server, we deal on a daily basis with doing tons of backups, and tons of restores to different environments. And a number of our databases are huge, a couple of them more than a terabyte, so before LiteSpeed speed came along backups, moving them from one location to another, took about 9 hours. Now with LiteSpeed, it takes 45 minutes.
They came in and made us feel very personalized in the relationship, and developed a very custom solution for us. That was something that we weren't getting with our prior vendors, and it made a real difference in our planning, and our confidence in how we move forward as a business.
