Recover Active Directory 5x Faster with Quest Recovery Manager

We made these errors even though we were operating in the demo environment without time pressures or the weight of knowing that the AD failure was preventing everyone in the company from doing their jobs. Using Recovery Manager simplified and accelerated the process. Once we configured and validate the recovery environment, we selected Start Recovery and simply waited for the process to complete. The automation removed the opportunity for human errors, synchronized activities across all DCs, and verified the AD forest was properly recovered. Recovering AD with Quest for this very simple environment was at least five times faster than the manual process. Large environments with hundreds of DCs may require days to weeks to manually recover AD versus just a few hours when using Recovery Manager. We also validated that Recovery Manager reduced the risk of malware reinfection during recovery operations and that recovery into a clean OS install and implementing a multiphase recovery process provides flexibility and accelerates time to recovery. It's imperative that you have confidence in your AD backup and recovery solution when disaster strikes because AD is the single source of truth for identity and access.
