Metalogix Essentials Fills Gaps in O365 for Disability Rights of Texas

OVERVIEW

Disability Rights of Texas (DRTX), formally known as the Advocacy, Incorporated, was created in 1977 to help people with disabilities. Their mission is to help people with disabilities understand and exercise their rights under the law, ensuring their full and equal participation in society.

THE CHALLENGE

DRTX has employees covering most of the state. With staff so spread out, DRTX needed a way to communicate and enable their teams to feel more connected. To help support collaboration, they purchased Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business.

However, they quickly learned that those collaboration platforms did not have complete backup capabilities. The out-of-the-box solution required members of the DRTX IT department to spend hours performing additional backups. Now, end users can easily and quickly access and review documentation that have been effectively backed up. “Each person on our staff saves at least 10 hours per week,” noted Carlton. They can now search for content in number of different ways. They are amazed at the time they save and are now able to focus on other mission critical areas of the business.
