My name is Oliver Paulzen. Besides being a consultant, I work as a practice lead for one identity in my company, iC Consult. IC Consult is specialized in consulting on identity and access management only. We do operations. We do deployments. We do general consulting, help the customer doing the right decisions and progress in the projects.
We come from a strong [? informatic ?] background, so iC Consultings is in the business for seven years, I'd say, seven years of doing work with One Identity or Quest. Being a consulting company with a long history of work with the One Identity Manager, obviously that's our first tool of choice in the area of identity and access governance. So that Swiss army knife of that space is definitely our key product in most of our audit and compliance related projects, and around this we use the adjacent products like installing a personal manager.
The main driver was automating processes, lowering the operational costs, streamline the processes. We still see those projects, but it is going into more compliance and audits-driven projects. So the main successes that customers have nowadays is showing the auditors the role of entitlements in the organization and doing the re-certifications in very lightweight process, and not involving any paperwork anymore, and having the right people responsible and making decisions on access requests. So it's not just the operational side, but nowadays it's the governance side specifically.
As a vendor-independent company, we are used to have our business aligned with the software vendor, so we are used to work closely with all parts of the organization. One Identity has proven to be that key partner for us. It's open. It's intense. It's regular communication, and as a partner, we have quick access to all required information systems' contact persons within the organization.
The product portfolio obviously is great. It's very recognized in the market. Analysts love it nowadays. It's very well received from the customer side, so you have easy possibilities to do business. And with the support that you get from the One Identity organization, all sides of it, just this whole organization, the product management dev teams, marketing teams as well, it's really easy to make business with them nowadays. It's not so much formalized. It's very interactive.
