[MUSIC PLAYING] My name is John Steinsky, and I am the Managing Director of Setka Solutions Incorporated.
When it comes to identity governance, one of the biggest concerns, among our customer base, is controlling access to sensitive information and understanding who is the owner of that sensitive information, so that owner can then make the appropriate call as to who should have access to it.
Some of the biggest security and risk concerns have to do with privileged accounts. Many people are surprised to know that these data breaches are internal, so you really have to start with the security of the employees, and specifically, the control of the passwords of those accounts and the assignment and removal of those accounts from employees when they leave the organization.
The Cloud represents an important part of our customers' future because of the perceived gains in efficiency from reducing their infrastructure needs. At the same time, it represents a bit of a challenge because it involves a shift in the way that they've, perhaps, traditionally manage their environments and requiring new skill sets for the staff who are doing that work.
Businesses really need to think about all the platforms that they're currently managing and the level of scrutiny on security that those platforms currently receive and understand that that is going to be a further challenge as they move those platforms into the Cloud, potentially, and grapple with the potential skill set gaps that some of their staff may have in terms of being able to manage those applications in that new environment.
We recommend the One Identity Portfolio because of the comprehensive nature of the solutions that are provided and how well they work together to solve the getting IAM right mission that our customers have. I think the biggest business benefit that they are seeing is an increase in efficiency and security. The efficiency comes from more efficient use of the limited IT resources that they have available and then security, of course, is that piece of mind that means that they know that they're not leaving any loose ends or holes in the environment.
They've seen a reduction in the cost of their outsourced resources where they have fewer transactions that need to be handled by those resources because of the automation that has been put into place.
Our lengthy experience, both in the directory space and identity management space, as it applies to Active Directory having been working with directories for over 20 years, I think we've kind of seen it all.
