Database Source Control - best tooling recommendations?

Our company is in the process of getting ready to use source control on our databases (SQL Server). I know that SSDT is free and powerful but I cannot recommend that to my team as they have zero experience with visual studio and source control.

Essentially, I want to make it as easy as possible https://19216801.onl/ for them while still being able to do all the necessary tasks for source control. I reviewed RedGate, ApexSql, dbForge, and a few other source control providers. Anyone have recommendations on these products?

Cost is not really the issue - ease of use, reliability, and support for tooling is the bigger concern. Git will be used for source control and I saw that almost all the big vendor tools support that out of the box.

Any reviews/recommendations/feedback??
