Dashboard for monitoring team

Hi All,

Hope y'all doin' good!

I am stuck with a task for creating a dashboard for our monitoring team. Basically my requirement is to create a dashboard for them with all the list of current/outstanding alarms as a view and under properties of that view, under actions I should have Alarm detail dialog configured as a dwell over row.

Under the Alarm detail dialog they should not be able to view any information i.e., drill-down any information upon clickin' any of the properties.

I tried to copy the Alarm detail dialog views and modify it but seems I'm doin' somethin' wrong.

Requesting your kind help and suggestions on how to achieve this.

Regards,

Arun.

  • Yep Hurshid, this is what I am looking for. I made a copy and disabled the 'Cell Selection' field and clicked on Test. I got the below and hoping to get the results I changed the progressTracker field to Data/Query/Function but something is missing as I am getting errors. If I go with 'Null', no data is getting displayed.

Please do not mind for asking too many questions.

  • I would say you should copy not only the row oriented table but deep copy the main Alarms dashboard. This will give you easier way to test, without inserting any inputs.
  • strangely this window popped up even in Alarms (original view) while testing...so I guess I need to input some detail here...
  • Hi Arun,

I have tested this now, unfortunately only under Alarms module. I have "Normal" copied the "Alarm List with Filter - Alarm List" row-oriented-table dashboard under the same module, you will have there now "Copy of Alarm List with Filter - Alarm List" dashboard. After that I have disabled "Cell Selection" in the copy dashboard. Then replaced the original one with the copy in the "Alarm List with Filter - Current Alarms" dashboard, which is also under Alarms/AlarmFilter module. Then go to Alarms dashboard and there will be no popup if you click on any alarm line, but only dwell.

Deep copy seems not to copy all needed components, therefore it shows no alarms.

    Regards,
    Hurshid
