Netvault Report mailing

I have upgraded from Netvault 11.0.0.51 to 11.1.0.29 to provide me with new VM reporting but now none of my reports will send to SYSOP EMAIL.

 

Overnight report jobs sit running at Raised completion event 'REPORT' of class 'Report Job' 

and will go no further?

I have checked in notification configuration and all the mail setting seem to have been kept correctly during the upgrade.

 

Any ideas?

  • Is this a Scheduled Report or when you manually run the report job?
    Is this the only report job that does this?

    Its both!! I have 6 daily scheduled reports that were running pre upgrade that now sit waiting and I need to abort every day.

    End of job log example below:

    I have tried running them manually (Run & Notify) and get the same result - they just sit in the active jobs list. All worked fine before the upgrade and as far as I am aware there have been no changes with our mail infrastructure (job failure notifications from our backup server still ok)

    Using 'Run & View@ does display the report.

    I apologize for the late response to this. What version were these reports created on prior to the upgrade?
    If you schedule the same report job for a different time, say 5 minutes later, does it work then?

    Thanks for getting back to me and no worries on the late response.

    All sorted now.........there where two issues.

    There was a bug in the ver 11.1.0.29 that meant the symail.bat file needed to be replaced &

    the old reports where coming out as .pdf so we changed them to HTML and all ok now.
