SharePlex 9.0 is the most exciting and feature rich release of SharePlex I’ve ever been a part of.

Our frenemies over at Oracle with GoldenGate have been working to create fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) about the future of SharePlex by telling customers SharePlex is going away. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. We've invested heavily in expanding SharePlex. We’ve more than doubled the headcount for development, same for our North American commercial sales organization and in other parts of the business.

We’ve been putting these resources to good use. It was a pretty major undertaking for us to convert our 18 year old SharePlex which, so far, has only captured from Oracle. Since February of 2014 when development began on capturing from SQL Server, we’ve done extensive research. Our first beta activity occurred in November of 2015 where some field engineers tested replicating from SQL Server to Server internally. On July 21, 2016, we released our sixth beta drop and the first which will run and replicate from SQL Server to other databases beyond SQL Server.

The next major release of SharePlex will contain new functionality that will bring more value to organizations. When seeking to make data available with an ever increasing number of different databases or other data stores regardless of the events, whether planned or unplanned, SharePlex is the golden alternative. We provide superior ease of use, world class support along with 18 years of product maturity in the database replication space.

SharePlex 9.0 will take us from supporting 11 data stores to 14.
