License consumption for QMM for AD and Exchange

We are doing a cross forest migration of AD (merging to pre-created accounts) and Exchange (source forest) to Office 365 (target forest is dirsynced). At what point are the licenses consumed for the quest products?

Hi J,

As soon as an AD object is Migrated/created, or merged with the target AD object, the AD migration License is consumed.

When it comes to mailbox licenses, the license is consumed as soon as the Mage Agent accesses the mailbox via an enabled Mailbox or Calendar collection.
