I just really do not want to migrated all these accounts over again.
I have a situation where that I have already migrated and synced well over 5000+ Users. DirSync is still running and cannot be stopped as Modifications are still being done to the source environment. Client wants to Modify the Name and Displayname of the migrated user accounts in the Target from Firstname, Lastname to Lastname, Firstname. DirSync is already scoped to skip these attributes as the user accounts naming convention have been changed during user migrations. Can you see any issues arising from changing the above in the Target? Will this cause issues for RUM or ADPW?
For instance within the RUM console when I create a custom map, I still see the username being the old name in the Target, still even after I changed it manually for the user in Question. I am assuming this is cosmetic and Quest in the backend (AD LDS) has this all stored within itself all the pointers for these accounts (Auxiliary and Service attributes, respectively)
Help in this matter is very appreciated.
