Situation: Source user profile on unmigrated workstation has connected to a shared printer by using the \\<printserver>\<printer> share. User is migrated with QMM. Workstation is RUM-updated, but not moved to target domain. Migrated user logs into the workstation with target account. User gets expected existing profile (RUM Update successful) However, printer connection is not available. User has to re-map the printer (SID History) Connects successfully. Why has the existing printer connection not available when user logs in with target account? Printer share permissions are set to Everyone - Print.
