Is there away to set SharePoint Incrmental to overwrite to prevent Directory for Temporary Files from filling up every week

I am running a full SharePoint Once a week and backing up incremental nightly. However every couple weeks the Incremental start to fail because the Directory for Temporary Files keeps filling up and running out of space. Is there away to have the Incremental overwrite to prevent this from happening.
