In Stat, modify the userid column to permit more than 10 characters.

Userid column needs have the ability to be longer than 10 characters.

As we will be using LDAP for authentication, we would like to also mimic userids as they are in AD.

A 10 character limit does not allow this for multiple users (including me).

    Update - In 6.2, LDAP connectivity is now available using SAMAccountName. Good!
    10 character limitation for username still exists. Bad!
    This means that in almost all cases (for us especially), it is not possible for us to have Stat usernames and SAMAccountNames be the same.
    Makes this LDAP setup more difficult.
    Wish this could get addressed. I'm pretty sure Active Directory allows a 20 character maximum.

    Thanks Dennis, but userid is still 10 characters in 6.2.

    Thanks B.J. for the idea.  There are planned changes for LDAP integration in our next planned release (6.2).  Shoot me an Email at dennis.nelson@quest.com and I will share with you what it planned and get your feedback on whether or not that will work in your situation.
