Welcome to the Unified Communications Analytics High Level Overview of the Admin Settings video demonstration. After UCA is installed, you need to configure the product. You can either select to click here to configure the product link, or click on the toolbar icon on the left bar menu.
Here, you have nine options for configuration. Target Environments manages how the product identifies different environments within your organization. You can see we are connected to a domain. And from here, you can add multiple different Active Directory environments.
Here, we can configure our Data Collections. We currently collect data from Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, Cisco, Skype for Business, and Lync. Also, here is where you set up how long you want to keep your data. It allows you to delete all your data if you wish. We will get into more detail on setting up data sources a little longer in this course.
Under the Security Widget, we configure what users have access to which data. For more details on giving users access to data, please refer to the deployment guide for advanced details. Here you can set Keywords that you want to omit when running a search, words like the, of, or they. You can add additional ones to the default ones that you see here.
Classifications are set to define how domains are categorized, and how to identify different call types, and to also set thresholds for quality metrics. Here's where you manage the settings for calculating the chargeback costs. This will be covered in more detail later in this course.
Subscriptions are a way to automate sending an insight via email. Or you can also save a subscription to a file share. Here you can figure all the subscription global settings. Insight Visibility is where you can set what insights are visible to which users. By default, all insights are visible to all users. You do this by creating visibility rules. And lastly, here is where you can enable or disable your company home page. To configure the home page, please refer to the deployment guide.
And that concludes this video demonstration. Thank you for taking the time to watch, and there'll be many more to come. To learn more about Unified Communications' analytics, visit quest.com/products/unified-communications-analytics.
