DP & UEM Teams Lend a Hand at Emerald Fields Park

Each year, the Data Protection and UEM businesses hold an annual event affectionately dubbed "Geek Week," in which a group of employees from various areas of the businesses - including pre-sales, product management, marketing, support, development, training, and others - come together to learn more about and gain hands-on experience with the products in the DP & UEM portfolios. The week is as much about team building as it is learning, which is why the team spends part of its time together giving back to the local community.

This year, the team was honored to partake in the beautification project at Emerald Fields Park on behalf of The City of Dublin. The City of Dublin built Emerald Fields Playground, a universally accessible playground, with grant money awarded by the state. While the play area is designed for children with special needs, children of all physical skill levels, from toddlers through elementary school-aged kids, love to play there. The volunteer effort was a substantial one, with activities including planting shrubs, bushes, and grasses that will provide important biodiversity to the lots leading up to the playground.

Thanks to everyone who took part in this important effort, and enjoy the photos!
