Twenty years ago Quest bought an Israeli startup called Neptun, which was focused on gathering data from Oracle databases. The acquisition was the core of the Quest R&D center in Israel. Over time, the office expanded, additional companies were acquired and the team grew.
Some of Quest's best sellers were developed in this R&D center, including Foglight Performance Analysis and later, Foglight Performance Investigator with unique analysis capabilities. As we move to cloud based solutions and cutting edge subscription database monitoring, Spotlight Cloud, it was time to refresh the office environment.
After 20 years in the previous office, the Israeli team has a new home, at the heart of a hi-tech campus in the suburbs of Tel-Aviv. The new office offers all the latest perks and comforts expected from a leading software vendor. Employees can collaborate in many ways, leveraging the open space, conference rooms or the playstation area.
With such a great working environment, Quest Israel is ready to welcome new members and continue to provide the best tools for today's challenges. As can be expected, the move required some serious work behind the scenes and collaboration with many groups in side and outside of Quest.
