Operation Backpack: Columbus Team Helps Local Children Get Ready for Back to School

Earlier this month, team members in the Quest Columbus office came together to help local children get ready for back to school. As part of Operation Backpack, the team collected donations on behalf of the Volunteers of America in order to fill 34 backpacks with school supplies for local children who couldn't otherwise afford them. In addition to the backpacks themselves, the team donated items including construction paper, copy paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, and crayons.

Congraulations and thank you to the entire Columbus team for taking the time and initiative to make a big impact on the lives of children in their community.

  • I love such events. Last year we also launched emergency responses regarding the covid issue in the USA. Although it's difficult to know how to help during this coronavirus pandemic, we discovered that we have more to offer than ever. We helped people in need to get access to proper Covid treatments and provided assistance to low-income families. Thanks to Amazon and Best buy, we bought over 2k laptops and backpacks with lots of storage to support home education. This epidemic won't be over for anyone until it's over for everyone. As new varieties spread, the longer the virus goes unregulated, the greater the harm to all of us. So, everything's in our hands.
