With Foglight Cloud, Quest takes care of Foglight administration tasks so you don't have to. In order to get email notifications from alarms on your databases and infrastructure, you simply need to setup one or more notification channels and assign those to alarm templates. 

Setting up the outbound email server is really easy - because you don't have to do anything! It's already taken care of.

You just need to decide who and/or what gets the email alert message. That could be an individual inbox, a group list, a Teams channel or a 3rd party tool that can ingest emails (eg. ServiceNow). 

Here are a couple examples with email (yes, I still use AOL, LOL) and Teams.

You may need to allow the sender email address in your email client, which is no-reply@foglightcloud.com

It really is that easy with Foglight Cloud.
