Application User Interface - new Tasks and Roles not showing on all coordinators

Does anyone know if you need to create new Roles/Tasks on each coordinator server?  We need to create a more custom role for some access.  I created a task and added the operations and then assigned the new ROLE to have that task and the users in it.  However it appears to only work on the coordinator i used.  I switched coordinators and it doesn't even show on the others.
