Desktop analytics without sccm?

Hi guys,

Now that Windows analytics is being retired soon, is there any alternative that can be used? I've read up about desktop analytics but that requires sccm. I'm particularly interested in using upgrade readiness still for a few clients that are yet to move from Windows 7 but do not have sccm in place and are not enterprise level so that'll never be the case.

Im aware of Microsoft assessment and planning toolkit, is there any other alternatives? Or is there a away to use desktop analytics without sccm?

Thanks
