Does the current version of DA support server 2022? If not when?

Trying to spin up new 2022 DCs but when trying to install the admin service no options and greyed out.

  • Hello,

Please notice Windows 2022 is not supported yet. Anyway, seems like you have a permissions issue and the account you are using within the KACE Desktop Authority cannot install the Administrative service. Please try to login to the DA Console with the same account you are using to run the Desktop Authority Manager Service. If you still have the same behavior please create a service request to review the problem over a remote session.

To create the service request please use one of the following:

    https://support.quest.com/create-service-request

    Or

    You can call these numbers:

    1.800.306.9329  or 949.754.8000

Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST

  • Hi Jorge,

What is it with Quest and DA? Server 2022 is over a year old. DA gets a new release every 2 years and never includes any improvements. Just fixes and the addition of more bugs.. Should clients that use this software move on?

So frustrating that I have to install old technology to use software that I am forced to pay maintenance fee on because nobody at Quest seems to give a crap about this software and the customer.

  • Hello Samuels,

Thank you very much for your feedback. This will be reviewed by the appropriate resources. We value your feedback and your loyalty as a customer.
