If you can use a Windows GPO, then you can use a Group Policy Managemene element in Kace Desktop Authority to send the settings to the devices. You can use the same ADMX files you use on a Windows GPO: Chrome administrative templates, and the Edge administrative templates to set what you need. After setting the rules, try to use the Validation Logic Rules to send the changes to one or two devices before send it to all the devices.

Yes, this is possible, but it depends on which version of Desktop Authority you're using and what browser management options it supports.

If Desktop Authority can run scripts or scheduled tasks, you could clear Chrome and Edge browsing history and cookies while leaving the saved passwords intact by targeting only the history and cookie databases—not the browser profile or password store.

That said, Microsoft Group Policy (or Intune for managed devices) is generally the more reliable and supported approach for Chromium-based browsers, as it provides granular control over browsing data without affecting saved passwords. If you're already managing everything through Desktop Authority, it's worth checking whether it supports browser-specific cleanup policies before resorting to custom scripts.
